TMZ reported that Talieferro -- who resigned in April to "focus on other employment opportunities", according to the university -- placed calls with a Florida Merrill Lynch representative who then wired money to Gallon. Oklahoma has so far declined to release any relevant documents, and the Merrill Lynch representative in question has denied providing money to either Gallon, his mother or fellow Sooner Willie Warren.
