Andrei Markov’s Injury Will Keep Him Out For The Rest Of The Playoffs

What we suspected has now been confirmed: the Canadiens’ Andrei Markov, who sustained a “lower body” injury on Friday’s game against the Penguins, is done for the year.

Bob Cole of HNiC reports Markov is out for the season.

Our own Travis Hughes remarked on Saturday that without Markov, things are “about to get a lot worse” for the Habs.

For more on the Canadiens, check out our Habs blog, Eyes On The Prize.
