I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything so darn cute.
You say it’s lust? Oh, no. Not at all. This is love and it’s undeniable love. This isn’t anything new for Nava, a 27-year-old outfielder. Nava has been leaving a ticket for Andrews for quite some time:
Nava has been leaving a ticket on the pass list for the ESPN sideline reporter for the last three years. Unfortunately for the PawSox outfielder, Erin hasn’t taken advantage of his generous offer - at least not yet.
While Nava longs after Andrews, Red Sox fans are longing over Nava, a “scrappy,” undrafted outfielder who has rocketed through the Red Sox system without any notice or fanfare.
Maybe some day Nava will become a big leaguer and be a fixture for the Boston Red Sox. An All-Star. A World Series champion. And Andrews will interview him after he is named the World Series MVP. This is how it would go down:
Andrews: “Your team just won the World Series, you hit .483 in the series with 7 home runs. How do you feel?
Nava: “I love you.”
Andrews: “What?”
Nava: “Uhh, it feels great, Erin...”
