↵You may remember that Lane Kiffin, once upon a time, was matched up against Natalie Gulbis in Esquire's Sexiest Woman Alive contest. Kiffin would go on to beat Gulbis and Danica Patrick in his Cinderella run to the Sweet Sixteen, where he bowed out to Heather Mitts.↵
Natalie Gulbis Gets Her Revenge on Lane Kiffin
↵↵Well, Kiffin’s run may be over, but Gulbis isn’t done being bitter about trying to get free publicity from reacting to the tournament. She tweeted a couple of shots of a Kiffin-themed dart board and her chucking darts at it.↵
↵↵It would be the height of humor if this had happened immediately after Gulbis’ loss, but that round of voting ended about two months ago. And tossing darts is a bit benign, considering the vitriol that Kiffin’s endured, like death threats for his kids, which is good because it’s all in jest, but bad because the jest isn’t all that good. We’ll see funnier stuff at every Tennessee game this fall.↵
↵↵But I guess this means Gulbis still cares enough about this meaningless tournament put on by a men’s magazine to respond to a slight endured two months ago. Could that have been a distraction that’s contributed to her woeful 2010 season? Will this closure spur her to rip off a winning streak?↵
↵↵I guess meaningless was the wrong word for this tournament. Fascinating seems more like it.↵
