NASCAR Fan Events Fill Charlotte Speedweeks

If you’re headed to town for the Coca-Cola 600 (or already there, for that matter), check out the list of fan events compiled by SceneDaily.com.

There will be tweetups at Hendrick Motorsports (Wednesday, 5-6 p.m.) and Roush Fenway Racing (Thursday, 11:45 a.m.) that should offer fans a great opportunity to get up close to some of their favorite NASCAR personalities (crew chiefs, drivers, etc.).

↵(And yeah, it’s not necessarily a tweetup if it’s publicized on a web site other than Twitter, but trust me, they will be cool events).

↵Also, Charlotte Motor Speedway has a cookout on Friday for Coke 600 ticketholders (with a grill all the way around the quarter-mile track on the frontstretch). If you’re not interested in free food, though, you may want to stay away.
