Details in the Yeardley Love-George Huguely murder investigation continue to emerge, each one helping to piece together the tragic events early Sunday morning.
Police: Yeardley Love Received Death Threats From George Huguely
The latest from Charlottesville Police Chief Timothy J. Longo is that Love may have received death threats from Huguely.
“Part of what we’ll be gathering in our discussions with friends and family is the extent to which [threats] took place and the context in which that took place,” Longo said. He added, “It’s trying to corroborate them through as many sources as we can.”
According to an affidavit, Huguely told police he communicated with Love via email, and later stole her computer and “disposed” of it. After being arrested, he told the police where the computer was, and they were able to recover it.
