Myron Rolle Will Probably Miss Minicamp Because Of Dumb College Stuff

When the Titans drafted Myron Rolle last month, both parties involved surely saw this coming, right?

↵↵Titans sixth-round pick Myron Rolle, whose draft stock suffered after he took a year off to pursue a Master of Arts in medical anthropology, is scheduled to return for finals at the University of Oxford in June.
Trouble is, the Titans have a minicamp during the same June 7-10 time frame.

↵↵Pro Football Talk goes on to note that the Titans currently have seven safeties on their roster. If Rolle misses this minicamp, he doesn’t have a great chance of making the team. Now, I’m not about to ask Rolle how it feels to cut his team’s brake cables and send its jalopy careering over a cliff into a ravine, where it will be left at the mercy of snakes and wolves, but if the Titans end up being frustrated by this, I can sort of understand why.

↵We all had that friend growing up who could never hang out because he/she participated in an extracurricular activity. Piano lessons six days a week, or drawing classes on Saturday mornings so you could never have sleepovers, or something you found equally frustrating. Granted, learning to play “The Entertainer” isn’t quite graduating from Oxford, but the somewhat irrational sentiment still remains. Stupid Myron Rolle, always having to do his stupid college stuff. The Titans will instead have to hang out with the kid down the street who just wants to play with model trains all day. He makes train noises and makes the trains talk to each other and stuff. It’s just weird.
