Round 4 Update: Tim Clark Takes Share Of Players Championship Lead

Tim Clark put himself in position to win the Players Championship by shooting a 6-under Round 3, and through his first ten holes of Round 4, he’s making the most of it.

The South African just recorded birdies in four of the last five holes, tying him for the lead with Lee Westwood at 15-under. Robert Allenby is one stroke behind.

Clark missed the cut at the 2010 Masters, and though he’s won a handful of European tournaments, the 34-year-old does not have a single PGA Tour win.

You can follow the live leaderboard here. For all things golf, check out SB Nation’s own Waggle Room.
