↵Toews gets a 1.3 million bonus for winning Conn. Because Chi was at cap, it will count against next year, so add that to their cap issues.

↵If this report is true, it means the Blackhawks are currently over the expected salary cap for 2010-2011 by a little less than $100,000. That’s with 14 players under contract and two restricted free agents they need to sign to new deals.
