Four majors in, the LPGA has been dominated by two players.
Haeran Ryu wins Evian Championship, second straight major title
Haeran Ryu won her second major of the season on Sunday in France

Nelly Korda took home the first two majors of the season in the Chevron and the U.S. Women’s Open, but the last two have been all Haeran Ryu as she claimed the Evian Championship on Sunday in France.
This has been a remarkable season for Haeran at large. Beyond the two majors she has made 11 cuts in 12 starts and has had 6 top-10 finishes. Her only missed cut came at the Aramco Championship.
When Nelly Korda won at Riviera this year there were many people wondering whether or not there would be a legitimate challenger for her across the entire LPGA Tour. Enter Haeran Ryu who went on to match her major titles this season as noted.
This win makes Haeran the first player from the Republic of Korea to win multiple majors in a single season since Jin Young Ko did it in 2019 (the Chevron and Evian).
It will be interesting to see what the Women’s British Open has to offer to wrap the major season.
