Not too many people expected the UFC 115 co-main event between Mirko Cro Cop and Pat Barry to end by submission. That is exactly how it went down in the end though as following a knockdown by Cro Cop he followed Barry to the ground and took his back to sink in the choke.

Mirko was knocked down twice in the first round and admitted during the post-fight interview that he had double-vision for several seconds. Barry was unable to finish him off though and it came back to hurt him. Mirko started to take over landing the better punches in the second and third round before landing a punch that knocked Barry on his back. Mirko had the better ground game coming in so he jumped on top and started to reign down blows. Mirko slickly moved to the back and sank in the choke to finish the fight.
