South Side Sox: Both Chicago Teams Demonstrate Ineptitude
Sox pitcher Gavin Floyd did not give up a hit through six innings and Cubs pitcher Ted Lilly lasted until the ninth inning before surrendering a hit in the Cubs’ 1-0 victory over their crosstown rivals Sunday night. Still, that didn’t impress South Side Sox much. Instead of seeing two great pitching performances, they’re left wondering about the poor hitting performances.
