Ted Lilly Loses No-Hitter Vs. White Sox In Eighth Inning

The Cubs’ Ted Lilly took a no-hitter through eight innings of an interleague match-up against the White Sox... only to lose it in the ninth. Juan Pierre managed a single off Lilly, who was yanked immediately afterward by Lou Piniella in favor of Carlos Marmol.
