Stephen Strasburg Named NL Player Of The Week
The Nationals announced in a press release that Strasburg was named the NL’s Player of the Week, a pretty tremendous accomplishment for someone who was in the minor leagues last Monday. Strasburg struck out 22 hitters in wins over Pittsburgh and Cleveland, the most of any pitcher this week. Sure, it was Pittsburgh and Cleveland, but it was still very impressive.
