Yes, Lego Soccer Is Awesome (For Everyone But Robert Green)
Yes, the benevolent souls at Lego Fussball have created a block-based recap of the U.S.‘s 1-1 tie with England from Saturday, and it’s a delight. It’s really, really well done, too, with that moment of horror for Green captured perfectly and Steven Gerrard’s goal very well represented.
I can only hope that as the tournament goes on, the folks behind these videos keep churning them out. I’m happy to move on from Tecmo Bowl representations of football games. (I do wonder how long it is before someone redoes log-rolling with Lincoln Logs, though.)
