Kendrick Perkins Leaves Game 6 With Right Knee Injury
Kendrick Perkins left the first quarter of Game 6 of the NBA Finals with an apparent knee injury. He was fighting for a rebound with Lakers center Andrew Bynum and landed awkwardly on his right knee. He was helped off the floor by teammates Shelden Williams and Brian Scalabrine. According to the Celtics Jeff Twiss, Perkins was having the knee X-rayed at the end of the opening quarter.
