Dana White Confirms James Toney Has Signed Bout Agreement To Fight Randy Couture At UFC 118

After much speculation about whether or not James Toney ever really signed to fight Randy Couture at UFC 118, Dana White put the issue to rest confirming he has, indeed, signed the bout agreement. In a video interview with Ariel Helwani following UFC 115, White claimed the internet rumors about Toney never signing were completely unfounded.

“Yea. Who would even come up with that report? where would that even come from? Yes, he signed his contract. The fight is happening in Boston.”

Well, at least now we can put that rumor to bed.

Stay tuned to SB Nation as more information becomes available.
