Marius Zaromskis came into the his bout with Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos as a fairly heavy favorite. Santos is removed from his best days and even in those best days he was a fun brawler at best However, Cyborg’s power striking and aggression cracked the defense of Zaromskis as he landed several big shots in an entertaining and action packed round. Zaromskis attempted to fire a flying knee but Santos countered with a series of punches that dropped, and finished, Marius.

Santos is the husband of the world’s best female fighter in Cris “Cyborg” Santos and now having his first win in Strikeforce, and first win at welterweight, he will attempt to make a run at a title of his own.
