World Cup 2010, Argentina Vs. South Korea: Lionel Messi Creates Second Gonzalo Higuain Goal

Gonzalo Higuain’s second goal of the match puts Argentina up 3-1 in the 77th minute, giving the Albiceleste needed insurance. But a large amount of credit for the goal must go to Lionel Messi, whose run toward the left post let to two shots before Higuain put in a rebound.

For Higuain, it was an easy left-footed finish into a undefended goal, with goalkeeper Jung Song-Ryung on the ground after having saved two Messi shots. Higuain is now tied for the tournament lead in goals.

Messi picked up the ball 24 yards out and run straight for goal, eventually forcing a kick save from Jung. The rebound went to Messi, with the next shot saved before Higuain made it 3-1.
