Two more players have entered next month’s supplemental draft.
Vaness Emokpae, a multi-position player from Truman State, is entering the draft. He led Truman in rushing and receiving last season. He played a variety of positions in college.
At 5-foot-11 and 245, he projects as a fullback or H-back in the NFL. Don’t expect him to be drafted.
Also in the mix is former Illinois defensive tackle Josh Price-Brent. Listed at 6-foot-2 and 315 pounds, he’s a slow-footed plugger in the middle. He started 12 games for Illinois in 2009, totaling 29 tackles, seven tackles for loss, three sacks and three forced fumbles.
He was ruled academically ineligible for the season. He’s also had some run-ins with the law, including a DUI and a suspended license.
Two more enter supplemental draft
There is plenty of off-the-field issues for teams to shy away from using a pick on Price-Brent. Still, someone could use an extra seventh on him.
