This is, very clearly, a rumor. But man, it’s quite a bombshell. According to John Ourand of the Sports Business Journal, Stephen Strasburg fever may have convinced President Barack Obama to come check out a Nats game.
We’ll update as soon as we can confirm or deny this rumor. Quick question: if you’re spying on the American government, but only pass on relatively trivial information, does it still count as treason? Rather than the death penalty, could we drop the punishment to a few hours of community service?
