White Sox fans will probably not be happy with me for focusing on the Nationals’ Stephen Strasburg tonight. After all, as of this writing, opposing starter Gavin Floyd has thrown five shutout innings (Strasburg allowed a run in the first).

↵Eight of the nine were swinging strikeouts. I submit that if all the power generated by Strasburg by forcing his opponents to swing could somehow be captured and stored, there would be enough of it to power a small kitchen appliance. That isn’t hyperbole. I’m serious here.
