Well, I ain’t exactly know how it happened, but it prob’ly happened ‘cause some knucklehead tried to broadcast his own Internet out of his garage! Interfered with the signal!

You don’t believe ya grandpa, huh? Let me tell you somethin’. Years ago I was listenin’ to the radio. They were playin’ the Miles Davis Hour. Ya grandpa’d never miss the Miles Davis Hour for nothin’.

Ya don’t know who Miles Davis is? Ya got wax in ya ears? ...I’m sorry, kiddo, I ain’t mean to cuss at ya. Anyway, I’ll take ya to the record store, see if they got Kind of Blue on cassette.

Right, right. Anyways, I was listenin’ to the Miles Davis hour. All of a sudden, it started gettin’ a bunch o’ static. Before long, I ain’t even be able to hear it! They were playin’ In A Silent Way, an’ believe you me, before long the radio was literally in a silent way!

Well, figured it mighta been ‘cause one of the beatnik kids from down the street were tryin’ to broadcast from the radio transmitter they built in their garage. So I went over there, an’ sure enough, the knucklehead Baxter boys were beatnikin’ to the Three Dog Night! Broadcastin’ over my AM station with no regard for the Miles Davis!

Hmm. Well, might could help ya fix the Internet. Think I got some telephone cables in the attic. Just gotta untangle ‘em, but they oughtta work as well as the day I bought ‘em from the Montgomery Ward. Might could splice ‘em together.
