Videos: Cameroon and Denmark Play World Cup’s Wildest First Half So Far
Samuel Eto’o and Cameroon converted a terrible Danish mistake in defense to a 1-0 lead in the 10th minute.
Then Nicklas Bendtner put home the equalizer on a gorgeous cross.
Then, as you can see in this Colecovision-quality video, the two teams went back and forth, playing soccer like ping pong. (And then the lead on ABC’s halftime show was, of course, that disallowed goal.)
Get thee to a television for the second half of this one. If it’s half as good as the first was, it’ll be twice as good as the majority of this relatively sedate World Cup.
