Steve Smith Activated Off PUP List, Participates In Panthers Training Camp
Steve Smith hasn’t participated in any Panthers practices since fracturing his arm in June. On Monday the Panthers activated him off the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list and he caught live passes for the first time since the injury.
When the injury occurred, doctors said he’d be out 10 weeks. Activating him off PUP is another indication that he’ll be ready for the regular season opener though head coach John Fox wouldn’t commit to Smith being ready.
