Phillies Fan Picks Most Conspicuous Place To Take a Dive
↵
↵It’s been a rough year for Phillies fan public perception, what with the on-field tazing and the vomiting on little girls who happen to have cops for dads. Not that Philly fans had a particularly sterling reputation to begin with. That said, we don’t mean to post this video of a fan stumbling in the stands behind home plate yesterday at Citizens Bank Park as a way to pile on, because obviously fans of all stripes are capable of falling on their faces. ↵I know I’ve done it more than a few times. But for the fall to happen behind home plate while the camera is trained on the mundane interplay between pitcher and hitter is delightfully random and merits attention.

↵For whatever reason, every conceivable means of fan humiliation seems possible when the Phillies play at home this season. It’s like the stars have aligned against them in some fantastically bizarre way. Now let’s just sit back and await further spoils.
