Three matches on Day 2 of Wimbledon were suspended due to darkness before they began their decisive set.

No. 23 John Isner’s match with qualifier Nicolas Mahut was suspended after a fourth set tiebreak, which was won by Isner with the help of double faults by Mahut. The match will be second up on Day 3, with Isner serving first and the score at 6-4, 3-6, 6-7(7), 7-6(3), 0-0.
American Vania King was unable to finish a would-be upset of No. 24 Daniela Hantuchova, despite leading 4-1 in the second set. Hantuchova will serve first when play resumes tomorrow, with the score knotted at 6-7(4), 7-6(4), 0-0.
Lastly, Santiago Giraldo was able to force a fifth set before his match against Thiemo de Bakker was suspended. This battle of two of the biggest forehands in the ATP will also be second up on court on Day 3. de Bakker will serve first in the fifth set with the score deadlocked at 6-7(4), 6-4, 6-3, 5-7, 0-0
A fourth match that was still going at the time was allowed to finish, with Chang Kai-Chen allowed the time to close out Arantxa Rus in the third set, 6-0, 2-6, 6-3.
