World Cup 2010, Spain Vs. Chile: Andres Iniesta Goal Finds Spain Up Two Goals, One Man

Spain is up 2-0 after 37 minutes thanks to Andrés Iniesta’s right footed finish from the left a goal, beating Claudio Bravo far post off a pass from David Villa. On the same play, hopes of a Chile comeback took a hit when Marco Estrada was given a second yellow card, leaving Chile with ten men.

Estrada appeared to accidentally tangle feet with Fernando Torres as Spain entered their attack. Referee Julian Rodriguez Santiago led the play go, Iniesta finishing from 14 yards out for Spain’s second goal, before showing Estrada a second yellow card.
