Spain, with goals from David Villa and Andres Iniesta, leads Chile 2-0 at halftime, putting them back on course to win Group H and avoid a Round of 16 match against Brazil.

David Villa’s near 45-yard goal into an empty Chile net, vacated when Claudio Bravo came out and misplayed a ball,got Spain on the scoresheet in the 25th minute. Villa then assisted on Andres Iniesta’s 37th minute goal, putting Spain up 2-0.
On the build-up to Iniesta’s goal, Marco Estrada was adjudicated to have tripped Fernando Torres, earning the Chilean a second yellow card.
If results hold, Spain goes through to the knockout stage as Group H’s first place team and, thanks to the 0-0 halftime result between Switzerland and Honduras, Chile would finish in second and earn a Round of 16 match with Brazil.
