Frank Shamrock To Annouce Retirement?

↵Gus Johnson on Dan Lebatard’s radio show said that Frank Shamrock would be announcing his retirement at tonight’s Strikeforce show.

↵Cage Side Seats interviewed Frank the other day and got the following quote from him:

↵↵It takes me an hour to get my back straight, and [I’m] standing 90% straight throughout my day.

↵↵The sad thing is that no one remembers how amazing of a fighter Frank was now that he is a rather uninspiring commentator and shameless self promoter. Everything people say today about Anderson Silva and Georges St. Pierre they were saying about Frank at his peak.

↵We’ll see if this truly is the announcement later this evening.
