Chad Jones suffered multiple injuries in a car accident on Friday morning but police said Monday that they don’t believe alcohol was a factor.
Police Don’t Believe Alcohol Was A Factor In Chad Jones’ Car Accident
We have two tests we use when the driver is alive: The Intoxilyzer 5000 and a blood test,” Harper said. “Obviously, we couldn’t administer the breathalyzer, because the driver needed to go to the hospital. And when the officers got to the hospital to request a blood test, he was already in surgery and by then it was too late.”
The officer at the scene said he had no reason to believe alcohol was a factor.
Jones’ father has said his son is recovering and “everything is positive” right now. There’s no timetable on his return.
