Troy Tulowitzki To Sport A Kenny Powers Look For A Non-Kenny Powers Purpose
↵
↵Now that Jared Allen has shorn off his once-majestic mullet, a great void has been left in trashy culture representation among the major sports. Lucky for us (and a passel of needy children) that Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki has seen fit to grow a mullet of his own for charity. In a move redolent of Kevin Youkilis’ campaign to have fans vote on his mustache for charity, Tulowitzki pledges to continue growing out the ape drape as long as people continue to donate to the Rockies Wins for Kids charity to benefit The Children’s Hospital and Special Olympics Colorado.↵↵Troy plans on giving monthly mullet updates on the FSN Rocky Mountain’s pregame show, with the next coming on June 9. In the meantime, watch the above video as several of his teammates discuss the finer points of mullet styling. The extent of gel use seems to be quite the sticking point.↵
