Drogba To Teammates: My World Cup Is Finished

Didier Drogba has told teammates that his World Cup is over.

While reports held Drogba and Cote d’Ivoire hopeful that he could return within a fortnight, teammate Kolo Touré says Drogba informed teammates that, for him, “the World Cup is finished.”

Drogba suffered a broken ulna on Friday in a friendly against Japan in Sion, Switzerland. The injury occurred during a collision with Japanese center half Tulio Tanaka.
