It doesn’t exactly solve the situation but it helps take your mind away for a while.
Saints Take Lombardi Trophy On Visit To Area Damaged By Oil Spill
↵The Saints were scheduled to visit the Governor’s mansion on Tuesday but instead have decided to head down to coastal Plaquemines Parish to visit an area that has been ravaged by the oil spill.
↵↵Saints tight end Jeremy Shockey, a diving enthusiast, said he has been following the news about the spill and was eager to help. “It’s just a tragedy. I know the people in that area are devastated,” Shockey said. “It’s hard for them because there are a lot of local fishermen and oystermen and everything. As far as the environment, it’s sad to see.”
↵↵Making the trip with the Governor and the Saints? The Lombardi Trophy.
↵Like we said, it won’t solve the problem but a day with the Lombardi trophy is certainly better than a day without it.
