Woody Harrelson Clinches Charity Match With Penalty Kick

⇥⇥⇥⇥⇥⇥

Most people know Woody Harrelson as an actor and avid hemp proponent, but maybe now we’ll all have to revise our limited perception of Woody to include impressive amateur soccer player.
With this year’s Soccer Aid charity match between Harry Redknapp’s England team and Kenny Dalglish’s Rest of the World team (benefitting UNICEF and played before 65,000 spectators at Old Trafford in Manchester) even at 2-2, the match went to a celebrity-only penalty kick showdown. It all came down to Harrelson, who apparently never took up the sport until the age of 40. He may not have had a lifetime of experience to draw from, but he mustered enough of a shot to come away with a victory for non-British people everywhere.
I think we can safely say that’s a skill he honed while playing the role of Larry Flynt.↵
