MLB Trade Rumors: Roy Oswalt’s Price Reportedly Going Up
Heard this from colleague Jayson Stark:The asking price for Oswalt is going UP. A lot of skepticism among rival teams that he will be dealt.
This afternoon, Oswalt allowed six runs in five innings against Cincinnati, so he certainly isn’t cooperating. Already, there was reason to doubt the idea that Oswalt would be moved, given Houston’s demands. But now, if this factoid is true, it’s just not happening. If Ed Wade and the Astros want to make a trade, they’ll have to be reasonable.
