Sergio Kindle Fractured His Skull, Will Miss Training Camp

Recent reports have said Ravens rookie Sergio Kindle is in stable condition after suffering a head injury over the weekend and that he’s expected to make a full recovery. The question is now how long will he be out.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh says Kindle fractured his skull and can’t travel for several weeks. He also said, according to Aaron Wilson of National Football Post, that he will miss training camp. The Ravens rookies reported today.

As for the injury itself, it was reported that he fell down two flights of stairs causing the fractured skull. Harbaugh said of the accident, "[He] got up in middle of the night and took a wrong turn."

The actual timetable on Kindle’s return is unknown and probably won’t be for some time. Harbaugh said they are planning to prepare without Kindle.

Kindle was the Ravens second round draft choice out of the University of Texas.
