New Brazil coach Mano Menezes, who was appointed Dunga's replacement this weekend, will use his coaching debut to start the process of injecting youth into a Brazil squad whose youngest player in South Africa was 23-years-old. That player, winger Ramires, is one of only four holdovers to be called-in for Brazil's August friendly against the United States.

Menezes, who left Corinthians to head the Seleção, will also bring-back forward Robinho and defenders Daniel Alves and Tiago Silva.
“It’s the beginning of a renovation, with the goal being the 2014 World Cup and the (2012) London Olympics,” Menezes said.That desired renovation is reflected in selecting 11 players who have yet to feature for Brazil’s senior squad, with seven players called-in still elegible for London’s U-23 tournament.
The most prominent of the call-ins who did not feature in South Africa is Milan's Alexandre Pato, who is joined by a number of other recognizable names: Paulo Henrique Ganso (Santos), Hernanes (Sao Paulo), Lucas (Liverpool), David Luiz (Benfica), Marcelo (Real Madrid), Neymar (Santos), Rafael da Silva (Manchester United) and Sandro (Internacional).
Brazil will face the United States at Giants Stadium on August 10, their first match since losing in the World Cup quarterfinals to the Netherlands.
