Stephen Strasburg Scratched After Having Trouble Getting Loose
Rizzo said Strasburg was "having trouble getting loose" in the bullpen. Precautionary move. They'll do an MRI and x-ray on his arm.
It’s important to note that, while he was scratched, the team says Strasburg wasn’t and isn’t feeling any pain. This sounds more like a team being extra cautious with a valuable asset in what is ultimately a meaningless game. We’ll all find out more following examination, at which point Nationals fans will hopefully be able to exhale.
