Rockies pitcher Huston Street was taken off the field in a stretcher after being struck in the groin by a line drive hit by Ian Stewart during batting practice prior to Tuesday night’s game against the Pirates. According to KKTV, the extent of his injury is that he suffered an abdominal contusion. In other words, he has a bruised abdomen.

Street is already back home and has been listed as day-to-day for the time being.
