Tuesday’s MLB Trade Rumors: Rockies May Be Sellers, Willing To Deal Brad Hawpe, Ryan Spilborghs

With the Rockies post-break struggles continuing (they just suffered a four-game sweep to Philly), FOX's Ken Rosenthal reports that they could become sellers before Saturday's trade deadline.

Colorado players that could be on the trading block, according to Rosenthal: Brad Hawpe, Ryan Spilborghs, Melvin Mora and pitchers Aaron Cook, Rafael Betancourt, Joe Beimel and Jorge De La Rosa. So, yeah, that's a lot of potential trade bait.

Hawpe in particular could be of interest to the White Sox, who are in the market for a bat, but may be unable to land Prince Fielder or Adam Dunn.

The Rockies are in fourth place and eight games back in the NL West.
