Angels Fans Agree, Jered Weaver Got Snubbed

The All-Star Game will be played on July 13th in Anaheim. Unfortunately for the home fans, only one Angel will be taking the field that night, Torii Hunter. The exclusion of Jered Weaver from the All-Star list has many an Anaheim (and baseball) fan scratching their head. SBNation Los Angeles not only thinks Weaver should be there but he’s made a good-enough case to have been the starter.

Jered Weaver should have made the team as well, but was snubbed. He is 8-3 with a 2.82 ERA in 17 starts this season, and leads the American League in strikeouts with 124. Last week, Mat Gleason made the case that Weaver should start the game, in his home park.

Let the snub discussion continue over at SBNation Los Angeles and Halos Heaven.
