Cubs’ Silva Charged With Loss, Abnormal Heart Rate After Game

Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Troy Tulowitzki drove in two runs as the Colorado Rockies completed a three-game sweep of the Chicago Cubs with an 8-7 win.

Jonathan Herrera drove in a run and scored twice while Dexter Fowler added two hits, an RBI and a run scored for the Rockies, who have won their past four games. Jorge De La Rosa (4-3) won his first start since April 25 as he was charged with three runs on eight hits with two walks and five strikeouts over 6 2/3 innings of work.

Blake DeWitt went 3-for-4 with an RBI while Alfonso Soriano added a solo home run and two RBI for the Cubs, who have dropped five straight. Marlon Byrd added a two-run triple in the ninth.

Carlos Silva (10-5) started on the mound for Chicago, but left with one out in the first due to illness. He was charged with the loss as he gave up two runs on two hits.
