NASCAR team owner Jack Roush has been released from the hospital following a two-week stay for injuries sustained in a plane crash in late July.

Roush was initially listed in serious condition and required facial surgery after the crash. He was moved from Wisconsin (where the crash occurred) to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, where he spent the last two weeks.
The team said it has not yet been determined when Roush will return to the racetrack, but in a statement Roush said he was grateful for all the well-wishes from fans and people within the NASCAR industry.
“I would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of support and concern I have received the past two weeks,” Roush said. “Our teams and drivers have not missed a beat in my absence, and I am proud of the effort they have put forth.
“I look forward to rejoining them at the track soon.”
Greg Biffle won at Pocono the week following Roush’s crash, giving Roush Fenway Racing and Ford their first win of the season.
Roush Fenway currently has three of its four drivers inside the Chase.
