Anthony Davis, Jr. Commits To Kentucky Wildcats

Anthony Davis, Jr., regarded by many to be the top recruit in the country, has officially committed to the Kentucky Wildcats. Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Radio tweets:

It is now confirmed....Anthony Davis Jr, likely the #1 player in America has committed to Kentucky. Huge

This was expected, but it’s still very good news for a Wildcats team that lost its core to the NBA draft.

Earlier in August, Kentucky was the subject of controversy when the Chicago Sun-Times reported that the university had paid Davis $200,000 in exchange for his commitment. UK vehemently denied the allegations and threatened to sue the Sun-Times, which later removed the article.
