Udonis Haslem Charged With Marijuana Possession

Miami Heat forward Udonis Haslem was charged with marijuana possession on Sunday after Haslem was pulled over for speeding on Gratigny Parkway in north Miami-Dade County and the officer discovered fewer than 20 grams of marijuana in his car.

Both Haslem and his passenger were charged, according to Florida Highway Patrol spokesman Sgt. Mark Wysocky.

Haslem, 30, who had been driving eastbound, was pulled over for speeding in a 2008 Mercedes-Benz. He was clocked going 78 miles per hour in a 60 miles per hour speed zone, Wysocky said.

During the traffic stop, the FHP trooper smelled ``an odor of marijuana” inside the vehicle, according to a press release.

Haslem and Dwyane Wade are the only two players on the roster remaining from the team's 2006 NBA Championship squad.
