Dallas Cowboys right tackle Marc Colombo was carted off the field during the team's Sunday afternoon practice after suffering an injury to his right knee. Colombo is being taken to a local hospital, where he will receive an MRI on the knee.
Marc Colombo Requires Surgery On Injured Right Knee, Will Miss 2-4 Weeks
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said the Colombo would likely need arthroscopic surgery. Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com reported that the tackle will miss 2-4 weeks and will require surgery.
Colombo missed the last seven regular season games in the 2009 season because of a fractured left fibula and a high ankle sprain. He missed all of the 2003 season because of a left knee injury.
