Marc Colombo Requires Surgery On Injured Right Knee, Will Miss 2-4 Weeks

Dallas Cowboys right tackle Marc Colombo was carted off the field during the team's Sunday afternoon practice after suffering an injury to his right knee. Colombo is being taken to a local hospital, where he will receive an MRI on the knee.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said the Colombo would likely need arthroscopic surgery. Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com reported that the tackle will miss 2-4 weeks and will require surgery.

Colombo missed the last seven regular season games in the 2009 season because of a fractured left fibula and a high ankle sprain. He missed all of the 2003 season because of a left knee injury.
