Brett Favre’s first, and to date, only drive of the preseason resulted in a first down on a swing pass to Adrian Peterson for 13 yards on the first snap. After that, things fared slightly less smoothly.
Favre Gets A First Down And A Sack In One Drive Of Action
After a Peterson run for a three yard loss, Favre was sacked on his second dropback by Patrick Willis. It appeared at first that Favre fumbled before he went to the ground, but he was ruled down by officials.
The Vikings opted to run on a 3rd and long on the following play.
Brad Childress opted not to bring Favre back out on the Vikings’ subsequent drive.
