Dolphin’s defensive end Kendall Langford apparently lost $50,000 worth of jewelry today on the football field.
The Search Is On ... For Kendall Langford’s Jewelry
↵Well, $50,000 according to a jewelry distributor since Langford declined to say how much the earrings were really worth.
↵I guess that would make anyone drop to their knees.
↵Langford forgot to take out his 2.5 carat diamond earrings before practice and spent an hour after practice crawling, metal-detectoring and even raking to find the earring.
↵The search was suspended for the day when Langford had to leave for a team meeting.
↵The diamond may never be found whole again since shortly after Langford left the grounds crew began mowing the field.
↵Of course, had the Dolphins dispatched money hungry groupies or noted Miami Dolphins jewelry expert Ace Ventura, this would have been resolved long before the grounds crew made diamond mulch on the field.
