We just might be witnessing the last, strange days of one of the UFC’s most outspoken personalities. While Chael Sonnen possesses many, if not all, of the clear cut symptoms of sociopaths, I can’t help but enjoy the spectacle we’ve all been treated to. Sonnen’s most recent eyebrow raising comments involve remarks he recently made about Lance Armstrong during an interview with Larry Pepe on Pro MMA Radio.
Chael Sonnen Denies Ever Saying Lance Armstrong Gave Himself Cancer

↵↵“Lance Armstrong did a number of things and he gave himself cancer,” Sonnen said on Pro MMA Radio, as transcribed by MMA Mania. “He cheated, he did drugs, and he gave himself cancer. Well, instead of saying ‘Hey listen, I cheated and gave myself cancer, don’t be like me,’ he actually made himself the victim and then went out and profited something like $15 million from this ‘Hey, poor me, let’s find a cure for cancer’ campaign instead of just coming clean and saying, ‘Look, here’s what I did, I screwed myself up, and I hope people learn from my mistakes.’”
↵↵Now, just days before his upcoming title fight with Anderson Silva, he is flip-flopping quicker than John Kerry. In an interview with Ariel Helwani, not only does Sonnen claim he never made the remarks about Armstrong, but he now insists the interview never took place. This is getting a tad weird, even for me. I’m torn between wanting Silva dismantle him for being this crazy, and routing for Sonnen for embracing his personality disorder.
